White Pearl / Snowball Shrimp

The White Pearl or Snowball shrimp features a transparent to slightly milky body, with females bearing snow-white eggs beneath their abdomen. This variant of Neocaridina palmata is distributed in China, Taiwan, and Korea, thriving in diverse aquatic habitats.

As omnivores, White Pearl shrimp readily consume various foods and coexist peacefully with other aquarium inhabitants. They thrive in well-decorated tanks, enjoying moss, driftwood, and hiding places like tubes or autumn leaves.

Females release up to 30 shrimplets every 5 to 6 weeks in suitable environments, with some maturing alongside fish in well-planted tanks.
